Well, I finally fixed my quilting boo-boo. The last time I posted about it, I had taken it apart, added borders and laid it out. Now, it's finally together!! And I still like it. For any of you who had problems with your measurements, like me, and all of the blocks didn't come out the same - this was really an easy fix.
Unfortunately, I wasted some fabric, but it's all for the greater good - a beautiful quilt.
I added enough fabric around each block to cut them all to 15" (which is where the fabric waste comes in). Then I sewed them all together. It came out pretty nice!

All of the block don't line up perfectly, but I like it like that. There are not in exact lines and look a little wonky, but I think that's what makes the quilt.

I was also waiting to show pictures until I had the back and binding fabrics. The brown flowers will be the back and the orange will be the binding. I'm so happy I decided to go with the Katie Jump Rope for both of these. I think they will complete the quilt perfectly.

Now, all of this sits in a nice folded pile until Spring Break, when I make a little trip to see my dear friend,
Amanda.

It is just lovely Amy!! And I especially love the back fabric. Must get my hands on some of that!! :) You're going to visit Amanda? How fun! You guys will have a blast!
I think your quilt-a-long quilt came out really great. I like the addition of the sashing around the entire quilt as well. It provides a nice eye-resting place before the binding fabric.
